ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth split a pair of women's volleyball matches during the second day of competition at the RIT Invitational Saturday. Nazareth dropped Buffalo State in four sets and lost to Rochester in four more to finish the weekend at 7-6 overall.
Scores against Buffalo State were 22-25, 25-17, 25-17, 25-16. Freshman Kassandra Busek, who represented the Golden Flyers on the all-tournament team had nine kills with two errors in 21 attempts to lead the way. Senior
Leah Farrell had eight kills with 11 digs and freshman #Maria Allocco combined seven kills with four blocks.
Nazareth had its three-match winning streak snapped in its final match by the Yellowjackets. Scores were 25-14, 20-25, 28-26, 25-22. Junior

Brittany Crocetti had 18 digs.
Nazareth opens Empire 8 Conference competition Saturday and Sunday at Elmira. Nazareth will play Elmira, Ithaca, Stevens and Alfred during the two-day crossover.
