ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Nazareth closed out its women's golf season Sunday at the Elmira Spring Invitational. With the event shortened to one round due to Saturday's inclement weather, Nazareth finished in third place in the four-team field with a stroke total of 418.

Ithaca won the team title with a score of 381, followed by William Smith (398), Nazareth (418) and Elmira (466).

Senior Michelle Van Slyke finished sixth individually with a 97. Sophomore Jenee Vanderstyne finished in a tie for eighth place with 100. Other competitors were freshman Jamie Schmidt (tied for 11tth place with 102); sophomore Mindy Fowler (119) and freshman Alussa Moffat (134).
