BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Fifth-ranked Nazareth completed a successful men's volleyball weekend Sunday as the Golden Flyers swept Bard in three sets in a United Volleyball Conference match at D'Youville. Scores were 25-16, 25-20, 25-11.

Nazareth improved to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in UVC action as juniors Billy Gimello and Dan Miranda each posted nine kills. Sophomore setter EJ Wells-Spicer had 28 assists and sophomore libero Dan Mowery had six digs. The Golden Flyers also defeated Stevens in a five-set match on Saturday.

The Golden Flyers play their first home match of the season Wednesday against D'Youville at 7 p.m. Nazareth also hosts the annual Golden Flyer Invitational next Friday and Saturday. All Nazareth home matches will be available by web cast at: http://www.pennatlantic.com/
