Purple & Gold Tournament
FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Host Fredonia made short work of Nazareth in a non-conference women's volleyball match Wednesday as the Blue Devils defeated the Golden Flyers in three sets. Scores were 25-17, 25-19, 25-15.
Fredonia improved to 13-6 overall while the Golden Flyers dropped to 8-11.
Senior
Megan Rogers combined five kills with nine digs and sophomore
Aubrey Cooke added 12 digs. Sophomore setter
Brittany Crocetti had 12 assists. The Golden Flyers were limited to 17 kills overall with 13 hitting errors in 78 attempts for a percentage of .051.
Kaitlin Orcutt, Jenna Tatu and Kaitlin Erdmann each had eight kills for Fredonia, which totaled 38 kills overall in 101 attempts for a .248 percentage. Brittany Lis had 28 assists.
Nazareth returns to action this weekend as the Golden Flyers host the Purple and Gold Invitational. Fredonia will be competing at Nazareth as well.
