Nazareth gets 3 in North-South game

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Three seniors have been selected to represent Nazareth Friday in the annual Lax World/USILA North-South all-star game for men's lacrosse.

This year's event will be played at 3 p.m. at Belden Field at Goucher College in Towson, Md. Long-stick midfielder Kyle Brown, attackman Mark DeCirce and defenseman Brian O'Donnell will play for the North team and represent the Golden Flyers, who finished with an overall record of 12-5 in 2010.

DeCirce, of Binghamton, N.Y., was the Golden Flyers' second leading scorer in 2010 with 63 points on 38 goals and 25 assists. He was recently named Empire 8 Conference co-Player of the Year.

Brown, of Baltimore, Md., played in all 17 games for the Golden Flyers and was a second-team all-conference pick after contributing six goals and two assists and scooping up 43 ground balls. He also led the Golden Flyers with 28 caused turnovers.

O'Donnell, of Delmar, N.Y., started all 17 games in 2010 and 38 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers.
