MENDON, N.Y. -- Nazareth dominated visiting Elmira in an Empire 8 Conference men's tennis match Sunday as the Golden Flyers won all three doubles matches on their way to an 8-1 victory.

Freshman Ryan McCormick won matches at first singles and first doubles for the Golden Flyers, who improved to 4-1 in Empire 8 matches and  6-7 overall.

McCormick teamed with freshman Josh Mulligan for an 8-2 win at first doubles. Junior Adam Landry then teamed with Jeremy Mancus for an 8-4 win at second doubles. Freshman Bret Beaver and senior Steve Trobert enabled Nazareth to complete the doubles sweep with an 8-1 win at third doubles.

McCormick was a straight set winner at first singles. Landry, Mulligan, Mancus and Beaver also won matches in straight sets.

Nazareth returns to action Thursday at St. John Fisher at 3:30 p.m.
