Nazareth competes at Hamilton Invitational

Woodward places 11th

CLINTON, N.Y. -- Junior Tyler Woodward was Nazareth's top individual finisher over the weekend as Nazareth's men's golf team competed at the Hamilton Invitational. Saturday's round was contested at Yahnundasis Golf Club; Sunday's round was played at Skenandoa.

Woodward had scores of 79 and 74 for a two-round total of 153 to finish in a tie for 11th place. Nazareth finished 14th in the team standings with a scored of 665. Manhattanville won the team title with a two-day total of 609. Middlebury (612) and Hamilton (615) placed second and third respectively. Hamilton's Greg Scott won medalist honors with rounds of 73 and 71 for a 1-over-par total of 144.

Also competing for Nazareth were sophomore Mike Bufalini, who finished tied for 37th place with rounds of 79 and 81 for a 160 total; senior Ben Herrmann, who finished 77th with scores of 86 and 88 for a 174 total; sophomore Zack Martin, who finished 83rd with rounds of 91 and 89 for a 180 total; and juniior Colin Doran, who finished 86th with rounds of 89 and 95 for a 184 total.
