Tennis team competes at St. Lawrence

CANTON, N.Y. -- Nazareth's men's tennis team turned in a strong showing Saturday during the first day of the St. Lawrence University Fall Classic.

Freshman Ryan McCormick won a match in the A Singles bracket, while seniors Alex Bodensieck and Dan Matteo won in the C bracket along with freshman Bret Beaver.

In doubles, senior Steve Trobert teamed with freshman Josh Mulligan to win a match in the B bracket while Bodensieck and Alex Wilczak won to reach the semifinals in the B bracket.
