Women's lacrosse team earns academic distinction

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Nazareth College's 2009 women's lacrosse team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Assosiation as a Division III Academic Squad.

The Golden Flyers are one of 62 Division III teams who have qualified for this unique distinction. In order to earn this award, teams must hold a collective GPA of 3.0 or above. Nazareth's team has far surpassed this with a GPA of 3.25 during the 2008-2009 academic year.
