Kristi Custer broke her own school record in the triple jump Thursday as Nazareth's track and field teams competed at the Raider Open at Roberts Wesleyan.
Custer's winning leap of 11.10 meters translates to 36 feet, 5 inches and qualified her for next week's ECAC meet at Springfield. Custer will be joined there by senior
Lauren Glaser, who won Thursday's 800-meter run in 2:17.18 for her fastest clocking this season.
Others who competed were graduate student
Jessica Brown, who placed fourth in the 1,500-meter run (5:06.03) and senior
Katie Adams, who was ninth in the hammer throw (31.69 meters/104 feet).
In the men's meet, junior
Matt Case was second in the 200-meter dash (:23.15) and senior
Robby Castor was second in the 800-meter run (1:56.09).
