MINNEAPOLIS -- Junior Lauren McKinney finished 18th Wednesday in 200-yard individual medley at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Minnesota.

McKinney posted a time of 2:06.90, slightly slower than her seed time of 2:06.30. Kate Rich of Denison was in first place after the morning preliminaries with a time of 2:03.63.

McKinney and freshman Jaclyn Conklin will be competing again Thursday in the 100-yard butterfly, then Friday in the 200-yard butterfly. Conklin also will be swimming Saturday in the 100-yard freestyle.
