The Golden Flyers, who have won seven of their last eight games, improved to 11-12 overall and 8-6 in Empire 8 games following the victory. The Tigers' Shawn Roe connected on a three-pointer in the closing seconds of the first half to cut the Golden Flyers' lead to 40-39 at halftime. Nazareth held the lead through most of the second half, stretching its advantage to eight points, 68-60, after two free throws from senior
Ryan McAdam with 9:19 remaining in the game.
RIT used a 16-8 scoring run to tie the game 76-76 with just under four minutes to play, but
Ryan McAdam reclaimed Nazareth's lead with two free throws on the Golden Flyers' next possession. A free throw from freshman
Jake Fladd gave Nazareth a three-point advantage, but the Tigers' Mark Carson tied the score when he converted a three-point play with 2:38 left.
Ryan McAdam gave Nazareth a two-point lead with 2:03 left to play, but Roe answered for RIT to tie the score 81-81 about 20 seconds later. Corletta then gave the Golden Flyers an 83-81 lead with 1:18 remaining. After each team had an empty possession, Korinchak connected on his three-point play with 2.9 seconds left to give RIT its temporary lead, which also set up
Corey McAdam's game-winning shot.
Corletta finished with 21 points and a team-high seven rebounds for the Golden Flyers.
Ryan McAdam was the third Nazareth player to score in double-digits as he finished with 20 points. Senior
Jeff DeHimer and freshman
Phil Scaffidi each added seven points to Nazareth's offense.
