ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Senior Lauren Glaser repeated as individual champion in the 800-meter run Sunday and was Nazareth's top individual performer at the Empire 8 Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships at RIT's Gordon Fieldhouse.

Glaser posted a winning time of 2:22.49 to outdistance her closest pursuer by more than three seconds. Ithaca finished first in the team standings with 238.50 points. RIT was a distant second with 100 points, followed by Stevens (67.50), Nazareth (41) and Alfred (14).

Nazareth also finished first in the Distance Medley Relay with the team of Shannon Bradley (1200), Evelyn DeSantis (400), Jessica Brown (800) and Caitlyn Parmelee (1600).

Other top performers included junior Melissa Cutcliffe, who finished second int he long jump with as leap of 5.36 meters (17 feet, 7 inches); junior Caitlyn Parmelee, who was fourth in the mile (5:37.96); junior Shannon Bradley, who placed sixth in the 5,000-meter run (19:56.05) and senior Katie Adams, who finished fifth in the 20-pound weight throw with a distance of 10.82 meters (35 feet, 6 inches) and seventh in the shot put with a distance of 9.11 meters (29 feet, 10 3/4 inches).

Junior Jill Egmond competed in the pole vault and placed sixth with a height of 2.50 meters (8 feet, 2 1/2 inches) and freshman Deb Morey finished eighth in tthe 55-meter hurdles (9.87).

In the men's meet, junior Matt Case finished first in the 400-meter dash with a winning time of :50.95. He also placed fourth in the 200-meter dash in :23.48.

Among the other competitors for the Golden Flyers were sophomore Matt Morales, who placed seventh in the 5,000-meter run (16:16.00) and junior Dave Patalano, who was 12th in the 800-meter run (2:07.45).
