VICTOR, N.Y. -- Junior
Ben Herrmann posted Nazareth's lowest first-round score Saturday as Nazareth stood in fifth place in the team standings at the ECAC men's golf tournament at Ravenwood Country Club.
Nazareth had a team score of 315 to tie with New York University for fifth place. St. John Fisher was in first place with a score of 299.
Herrmann shot a 4-over-par score of 76 and was tied for seventh place individually to pace the Golden Flyers. Fisher's Tyler McArdell was the individual leader with a 2-under-par score of 70.
Other competitors for Nazareth were sophomore
Dylan Bedy, who shot 79; freshman
Michael Bufalini and senior
Josh Maxwell, each with 80; and senior #R.C. Weston# with 90.
