ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Senior Elizabeth Way was Nazareth's lone representative on the Empire 8 Conference all-star team for women's tennis. Conference champion Ithaca dominated the selections, which were announced Oct. 28 and assembled through voting by the league's head coaches.

Way, of Gorham, N.Y. and a graduate of Marcus Whitman High School, was selected for her fine singles play this fall. She finished unbeaten at 7-0 in conference singles matches.

Way and fellow senior Jackeline Martinez also were honorable mention selections for doubles after posting a 4-3 record in Empire 8 Conference matches.

Nazareth completed the fall season with a 5-6 overall record, including a 5-3 mark in E8 matches.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Nazareth's top three singles players each recorded victories Tuesday as the Golden Flyers won their first spring break match in women's tennis by defeating College of Wooster, 7-2. Nazareth's men's team also played and lost to Transylvania, Ky. 7-2.

HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Nazareth's women's tennis team started its spring break in winning fasion as the Golden Flyers won all three doubles matches in a 5-4 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan. Nazareth also won the men's match, 8-1.
