KEUKA PARK, N.Y. -- Despite a 30-8 advantage in shots, visiting Nazareth had to come from behind Tuesday to secure a 3-2 non-conference men's soccer victory at Keuka.

The rally, aided by a goal and an assist from sophomore Andrew Alaimo, helped extend the Golden Flyers' unbeaten streak to seven games (5-0-2) and improved their overall record to 8-4-2. Keuka dropped to 7-4-1 overall.

"It was a tough environment and we might have been a little bit complacent," said Nazareth Coach Danny Gilbertson. "We're not quite mature enough to deal with the adversity."

After falling behind in the 28th minute, Nazareth rallied to tie the score less than five minutes before halftime as sophomore Sean Dorman scored his first goal of the season off an assist from Alaimo.

Nazareth applied offensive pressure to start the second half and finally got the go-ahead goal from Alaimo, his fifth of the season, in the 62nd minute off an assist from Liam Connolly.

In the 76th minute, senior Christopher Löfgren added a key insurance goal to make the score 3-1.

With less than three minutes to play, Keuka scored again to slice Nazareth's lead to 3-2, but the Golden Flyers were able to hold on for the win.

Sophomore Ryan Platt played all  90 minutes in goal and made three saves.

Nazareth returns to its Empire 8 Conference schedule Saturday at home against Alfred at 1 p.m.
