ITHACA, N.Y. -- Nazareth's third doubles combo of freshman Christine Cary and junior Sherrita Wilkins was eliminated Sunday in the semifinal round of the New York State Women's Tennis Championships at Cornell University's Reis Tennis Center.

Cary and Wilkins lost 8-3 to New York University's tandem of Lisa Mijovic and Ariel Sultan. On Saturday, Cary and Wilkins defeated Tory Engros and Brittany Trimble of Skidmore 8-5 for their second win of the tournament.

Nazareth competes again this weekend at the Empire 8 Championships.
