CANTON, N.Y. -- Twentieth-ranked St. Lawrence dominated Nazareth in a non-conference field hockey match Saturday, scoring twice in the first half and three times in the second for a 5-0 victory.
The loss was the fourth straight for the Golden Flyers, who dropped to 6-7 overall. St. Lawrence is 10-2 overall. Nazareth has three regular-season games remaining, including an Oct. 31 home game against Hartwick.
The host Saints had a 40-4 advantage in shots and a 22-1 edge in penalty corners. Emily Riley scored two goals -- one in each half -- to lead the Saints. Michelle Lamfroise and Brooke Maloney each added one goal and one assist. Chelsea Priebe also had goals.
