Morales named Runner of the Week
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Matt Morales, a junior on the Nazareth cross country team, has been named Empire 8 Conference Runner of the Week for the seven-day period that ended Oct. 11.
A native of Delhi, N.Y. and a graduate of Delaware Academy, Morales was the pacesetter at the Nazareth Invitational Saturday as he won the 6-kilometer race in 18 minutes, 30 seconds. The Golden Flyers finished second in the team standings.
Nazareth's next competition is Oct. 24 at the New York State championships at Genesee Valley Park.
