Maxwell shoots 76 for Nazareth

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Senior
Josh Maxwell posted the team's best individual score Sunday the Golden Flyers hosted the first round of the Nazareth Invitational at Irondequoit Country Club.
Maxwell fired a 4-over-par score of 76 to stand in fifth place in the individual standings. Nazareth is in fourth place in the six-team event with a first-day score of 325. Washington & Jefferson is in first place with a score of 302. University of Rochester was next with 309 and Allegheny had 314. Hobart (330) and Elmira (336) are also competing.
Other Nazareth competitors are freshman Mike Bufalini in 13th place with an 81; junior
Ben Herrmann and sophomore
Dylan Bedy tied for 22nd place with 84s; and freshman
Jay Stith in 27th place with an 88.
The tournament continues Monday at 9 a.m.
