Flyers compete at St. Lawrence

Nazareth finishes in 14th place

CANTON, N.Y. -- Seniors
Josh Maxwell and Matt Dalton led Nazareth to a 14th-place finish at the St. Lawrence Invitational. Maxwell finished with a score of 163 to tie for 55th place while Dalton finished with a score of 154 to tie for 58th place.

Sophomore Ben Herrmann was the Golden Flyers' third golfer as he recorded a score of 171 and finished 67th. Herrmann was followed by graduate student Mark Chambers (174) and freshman Colin Doran (178) in 68th place and 70th place respectively.

Nazareth's top-five scorers tallied a score of 669 points to finish in 14th-place. Waterloo won the men's competition with a score of 591. Ottawa finished in second place with a score of 603, followed by Hamilton in third place with a score of 605.

The Golden Flyers compete again September 13th and 14th as they join with Hobart to host the Nazareth/Hobart Invitational.
