Nazareth hosts Allegheny Sunday at 2 p.m.

ROCHESTER, NY -- Visiting Denison scored twice in the first half and once in the second Saturday to blank Nazareth, 3-0, in the first day of the Nazareth Tournament for women's soccer at Golden Flyer Stadium.

Denison improved to 2-0 with the non-league win. Nazareth dropped to 1-2. Both teams play again Sunday with Denison meeting sixth-ranked William Smith at 11 a.m. Nazareth plays Allegheny at 2 p.m.
   
Kim Oshita scored twice for the Big Red and Maggie Hoskin aded a goal and an assist. Denison also enjoyed a 20-9 shooting advantage.

Hoskin opened the scoring in the ninth minute off an assist from Jen Clemmer. Oshita made it 2-0 in the 33rd minute.

Nazareth's best chance came in the second half when freshman Kaylee Benz took a shot from about 20 yards out that hit the right goal post. Oshita later added her second goal of the game in the 70th minute with Clemmer picking her second assist of the game.

Denison's Courtney Cobb made two saves in goal. Nazareth sophomore Hillary Simon had eight saves.
