CLIFTON SPRINGS, N.Y. -- Nazareth's golf season continued over the weekend as the Golden Flyers competed in the Nazareth-Hobart Invitational at Bristol Harbour and Clifton Springs Country Clubs.

Senior Matt Dalton was Nazareth's top individual finisher with rounds of 80 and 79 for a 159 total. That was good for 13th place in the five-team invitational. Close behind was sophomore Ben Herrmann, who had a 160 total following rounds of 83 and 77.

Elmira, led by medalist Brandon Christo (72-71 -- 143) won the team title with a 606 team total. The Soaring Eagles were followed by Hobart (616), Potsdam (631), Oswego (634) and Nazareth (661).

Other Nazareth competitors were seniors Josh Maxwell (83-83 -- 166) and Mark Chambers (88-86 -- 174) and freshman Colin Doran (89-87 -- 176) and Mike Soldi (95-91 -- 186).
