ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth opens its 2008 men's soccer season this weekend at the fifth annual Doug May Memorial Classic, hosted by RIT.

Nazareth plays at 11 a.m. Saturday against 20th-ranked Hobart at RIT Field. That game will be followed by RIT vs. Gallaudet at 1:30 p.m. The Golden Flyers play again Sunday at 11 a.m. vs. Gallaudet while RIT hosts Hobart at 1:30 p.m.

The tournament pays tribute to Doug May, who coached college soccer for 24 years -- 16 at RIT and eight at Nazareth -- before passing away suddenly in the spring of 2004. He had a career coaching record of 251-120-38 with 11 NCAA Tournament appearances.

The weekend also will feature the Doug May Memorial Golf Tournament Friday at Chili Country Club. Click here for more information.
