ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth's men's lacrosse team, idle since April 22, will compete this week in the ECAC Upstate Tournament. The Golden Flyers, 8-6 overall, are the fourth seed in the four-team event and will visit top-seeded Union Thursday in a first-round match-up at 4 p.m.

Two other Empire 8 Conference teams also will be competing as second-seeded RIT (10-7) hosts third-seeded St. John Fisher (11-4) in the other semifinal game Thursday at 4 p.m. The championship game is Sunday at noon.

The Golden Flyers will be competing in the ECAC Tournament for the third time after winning the championship in 1990 and 2006.
