ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Six ex-student athletes will be honored at Nazareth College's 14th annual Sports Hall of Fame induction dinner April 18 at the Burgundy Basin Inn.

Former women's volleyball/basketball standout Liz Alhart, '82; former men's lacrosse All-Americans Ronnie Davis, '93 and Tom Fritz, '97; former men's basketball All-American Greg Dunne, '00; former men's soccer All-American Steve Fisher, '01; and former women's lacrosse All-American Maya Lambiase, '01 will be honored in a special ceremony.

Alhart, of Caledonia, N.Y., played three seasons for Nazareth's successful women's volleyball teams of the late 1970s and early 1980s. She helped guide the Golden Flyers to a record of 101-25-3 in those seasons and helped Nazareth to its first state title in 1980. She also played two seasons of basketball.

Davis, of Lakeville, N.Y., was a four-year member of the men's lacrosse team and helped Nazareth win its first national title in 1992. He was a first-team All-American as a midfielder in '92 and was named Most Valuable Player in the NCAA Championship game after scoring six goals and adding three assists in a 22-11 win over Roanoke.

Dunne, of East Northport, N.Y., played four seasons of basketball and golf for the Golden Flyers and ranks among the top 10 in NCAA Division III history in assists with 671. He earned All-American honors in 1999 and was named Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year.

Fisher, of Marion, N.Y., was a four-year men's soccer standout who became the program's first-ever All-American in 2000. He was a two-time selection as Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year, an honor he also earned as a golfer in 2001 when he earned medalist honors for the inaugural E8 Conference Tournament.

Fritz, of Mountain lakes, N.J., was a three-time men's lacrosse All-American and a dominating defensive player on Nazareth's national championship teams of 1996 and 1997. He ranks fourth all-time in career ground balls with 307.

Lambiase, of Irondequoit, was a soccer/lacrosse standout who helped Nazareth to its first NCAA berth for women's lacrosse in 2000. She earned All-American honors that season in leading Nazareth with a school-record 67 goals. She was named Empire 8 Conference co-Player of the Year.
