ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth's men's volleyball team is seeded third for this weekend's 16-team North East Collegiate Volleyball Association Tournament at Ramapo.

The Golden Flyers completed the regular season with a 27-6 overall record after winning two of three matches at last weekend's NECVA Western Division Cross-over at Eastern Mennonite. The Golden Flyers, ranked first in Division III earlier in the season, were ranked sixth last week.

Nazareth will play 14th-seeded Elms College (19-9) in a first-round match Friday at 4 p.m. If successful there, Nazareth would play again Saturday at 1 p.m. against the winner of Friday's match between sixth-seeded Newbury (28-9) and 11th-seeded D'Youville (13-12). The semifinals are Saturday at 4 p.m. and the final is Sunday at 1 p.m.

The tournament winner gains at automatic berth to the Molten Division III Men's Invitational Championship at Springfield April 11-12.
