Nazareth defeats Quincy in four games

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Senior Adam DiCicco recorded a team-high 14 kills and junior Frank Leahy tallied a match-high 45 assists to lead sixth-ranked Nazareth to a four-game victory over visiting Quincy University 30-22, 30-32, 30-18, 30-28.

The Golden Flyers improve to 25-5 overall with the victory. The Hawks drop to 16-21 overall with the loss.

Seniors Tom Maving and Kellen Gambeski added 11 kills and nine kills respectively to Nazareth's attack. Gambeski and junior Ryan Johnsen each finished with six blocks while junior Chris DeHority totaled a match-high 14 digs. DiCicco also contributed 10 digs and a match-high four service aces for the Golden Flyers.

Robbie Coughlin led Quincy with a match-high 15 kills while Tanner Wright contributed nine kills and a team-high nine digs. Collin Cooper finished with six digs while Coughlin and Christopher Zeidler each tallied five digs. Setter Dan Dresen led the Hawks with 37 assists while Wright added 10 assists.

Nazareth next competes in the NECVA West Tournament March 28th and 29th. The Tournament is being hosted by Eastern Mennonite University.
