Nazareth downs Heidelberg

CUMULATIVE STATSHILTON HEAD, S.C. -- Nazareth won its second women's tennis match in as many days Monday as the Golden Flyers topped non-conference foe Heidelberg, 7-2.
Junior Danielle Carinci won matches at both singles and doubles to pace the Golden Flyers, who edged Brevard College, 5-4, in Sunday's spring break opener. Carinci won at fourth singles and teamed with Ellen Auton for an 8-4 win at second doubles.
Jessica Faber, Elizabeth Way and Sherrita Wilkins also won singles matches. In addition Rachel Leonard and Jackie Martinez combined for a close win at first doubles, 9-8 with a 14-12 tiebreaker. Christina Biondo and Kelly Noble combined for a point at third doubles.
