CUMULATIVE STATSBUFFALO, N.Y. -- Nazareth's men's volleyball team recovered from a rough weekend to post a three-game sweep of D'Youville Wednesday in a North East Collegiate Volleyball Association match. The Golden Flyers won by scores of 30-23, 30-26, 30-27 to improve to 16-4 overall.
Nazareth dropped from first to fifth in the latest Division III rankings released Tuesday after suffering weekend defeats to Philadelphia Biblical and Vassar. D'Youville is ranked 12th nationally and now stands at 7-7 overall.

Tom Maving led the Golden Flyers with 17 kills and junior
Joe Petzoldt combined 14 kills with 10 digs. Junior setter
Frank Leahy amassed 49 assists. Freshman
Hans Schroeder contributed eight kills.
Nazareth plays two matches on Saturday at SUNYIT. The Golden Flyers play SUNYIT and Lancaster Bible at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. respectively.
