Nazareth wins 10th straight match

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Sophomore Brian Bunch and freshman Hans Schroeder each recorded 10 kills to lead the host Golden Flyers to a three-game sweep of SUNYIT in a men's volleyball match. Scores were 30-20, 30-18, 30-24. Nazareth, ranked first in Division III, improved to 13-2 with its 10th straight victory. The Wildcats dropped to 3-6 with the loss.

In addition to the kills from Bunch and Schroeder, the Golden Flyers received seven kills from junior Mike Houlihan and freshman Will Siwy. Sophomore Kevin Kirchhoff recorded a match-high 39 assists while senior Adam DiCicco recorded a team-high five digs. Bunch, Siwy, and freshman Patrick Ribec each contributed three aces for Nazareth.

Derrick Seay led SUNYIT with a match-high 19 kills and six digs. Aaron Strusienski recorded 28 assists while Chris Abel added five kills.

The Golden Flyers host Hilbert Tuesday, February 19th in their next match.
