Sean Lalley

Sean_LalleySean Lalley, former head golf professional at Mendon Golf Club, was named head coach of the Nazareth women's golf team in the spring of 2014. He became coach of the men's golf team in 2017.

In his first year as coach of the men's squad, Lalley guided Andrew Fleischman to an eighth-place finish at the four-day Empire 8 Championships, earning him second team all-conference honors. In 2018-19, Lalley had another all-conference finisher as Jake Costa took fifth at the Empire 8 Tournament. Costa was also named the conference rookie of the year. Costa earned all-conference honors again in 2020 despite the cancellation of the final two rounds of the E8 Tournament.

A native of Buffalo, Lalley is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit. Before taking over as head pro at Mendon in 2012, Lalley worked for six years as head professional at Country Club of Ithaca. He also has experience as an assistant golf professional at Monroe Golf Club and at Country Club of Rochester. He was named Assistant Golf Professional of the Year while at CCR in 2001.

Lalley resides in Farmington with his wife, Denise, and children Kiera, Caitlin and Myles.
