Shari Gerevics

A standout pitcher at RIT for four seasons and an assistant coach for six seasons after that, Shari Gerevics joined the Nazareth softball staff as an assistant coach in 2010.

Gerevics was Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Year for the Tigers in 2001 and was E8 Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004 -- all while playing for current Nazareth head coach Jack Carpenter.

Gerevics broke several pitching records at RIT, including most innings pitched (616 2/3), most wins (55), most complete games (86), most shutouts (22) and most strikeouts (515).

Gerevics has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master's degree in Imaging Science. She works as an image science engineer at ITT Geospatial Systems in Rochester.
