ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Host Nazareth dominated from start to finish Wednesday as the Golden Flyers posted a 9-0 women's tennis victory over Empire 8 Conference rival Elmira.

Nazareth won its second straight match to even its record at 2-2 both overall and in conference matches. Elmira is 1-4 overall and in the Empire 8.

Juniors Stephanie Parvan and Rachel Leonard were winners at first and second singles respectively. Then the duo combined for an 8-0 triumph at first doubles.

Likewise for sophomore Jackie Martinez and junior Jess Faber at third and fourth singles ad second doubles.

Nazareth also won at fifth and sixth singles behind junior Danielle Carinci and sophomore Elizabeth Way. Carinci and Way combined for Nazareth's other point with an 8-1 win at third doubles.

Nazareth returns to action this weekend at the ITA Invitational Tournament at William Smith.
